HBTU PhD Admission 2021
Admission to PhD programmes is based on UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET score . Candidates who do not have UGC-NET or CSIR-NET score can appear for a written examination conducted by the university. The selection will be based on an entrance test followed by an interview and document verification.
HBTU is very good as far as Engineering is concerned. But for MBA, first of all it’s very new and doesn’t have good placements . Not every Engineering college which is reputed provide good MBA course also.
You would require a minimum of 97-98 percentile to get admission in B. Tech programme in HBTU, Kanpur. The cutoff rank for CSE is around 21,000 which would be approx. 97.5 percentile.
Is there direct admission for me? This is an excellent percentage secured by the student. However, admission to B Tech at HBIT is made through UPSEE or JEE Main score . Therefore, candidates along with intermediate merit need to appear for the entrance exam and based on college specified cut-off, seats are allotted.
