How do you get to Booty Bay Shadowlands?
Open your map, head to Barrens, follow the main road south until you hit The Crossroads, then take the road left to Ratchet. Pick up the flight point for later use, then just catch a ride on the boat to Booty Bay at the harbor.
How do you get rep with the Steamwheedle Cartel?
- Do all the goblin quests. It really helps.
- Kill pirates in Tanaris until Gadgetzan hits revered (and stops increasing).
- Kill pirates on the ships south of Booty Bay till Gadgetzan hit exalted.
- Kill pirates in Tanaris until the other three hit exalted.
Can you get friendly with Bloodsail Buccaneers?
To gain Bloodsasil rep, kill Booty Bay Guards, but be warned, you lose rep with ALL goblin cities.
The rewards of becoming friendly are a pirate hat
. I reccommend that if you do do this, grind the Bloodsail as soon as you finish to get your BB rep back.

If you follow the trail from Ratchet’s tavern to the merchant coast, you’ll come to some pirates and a ship (‘docked’ in the bay created by that big peninsula)
. The island is almost due East of there. It looks like it’s in deep waters, but it actually has a shallow water ‘path’ leading from the mainland to Fray Island.
