: Area 17 – Ride the flying birds up or climb through the interior of the giant tree in the center to reach the high branches. When you reach high up in Area 17, move to the northeast corner of the traversable branches / vines. Complete the delivery quest to unlock.

The Ancient Forest Camp (17) is quite tricky to find.
It's at the very top of the tree
. If you chase after the Grimalkyne up there (which is marked on the map) you'll run into it automatically. You must go over one of the small tree branches at the very top of the big tree.
How do you get to Area 16 in ancient forest?
The location you are specifically looking for is area 16, which is right at the top of the map. By far the easiest way to find it is to
complete the area's Grimalkynes quest
. As part of this, you have to travel through area 17, where you'll unlock a new campsite..
Where are the first Wyverians?
The First Wyverian is now located
at the top of the Ancient Forest, in Section 17
. There are actually markings and footprints that will lead players to the First Wyverian.

area 10 up the wall of vines
. The latter camp gives fast access to the bottom of the vale, so it is a very useful camp. The last area is the Elder's recess, a high-rank area where co-op play is particularly helpful.
