How is engraving done?
Engraving is an intaglio printmaking process in which
lines are cut into a metal plate in order to hold the ink
. In engraving, the plate can be made of copper or zinc. The metal plate is first polished to remove all scratches and imperfections from the surface so that only the intentional lines will be printed.
How long does it take to get a custom yeti?
Typical turnaround time is an estimated

Will a vinyl decal stick to Yeti?
Because the YETI Rambler’s brushed stainless steel is a bit of a low energy surface, we opted for medium tack TransferRITE 582U here, just as with the EnduraGLOSS.
It’s unwise to use high tack tape to transfer a vinyl graphic to a low energy surface or to apply a vinyl with a low-tack removable adhesive
.

Do you need to seal permanent vinyl on tumblers?
I do not seal my vinyl on tumblers.
Most vinyl manufacturers actually recommend that you don’t apply a sealer over the vinyl
. The exception to this would be if you want to go through the process of sealing your tumbler with epoxy. This is usually done with glitter tumblers.

Use the paintbrush to spread on a thick layer of Mod Podge Photo Transfer Medium on the image side of the paper. It should be even and entirely cover the image. Immediately place the image down on the sheet metal and use your hands to smooth out the paper and remove any air bubbles. Set aside to dry overnight.
