You
should not rub your injected eye
. You should not wash your face and hair or shower for 48 hours. You should not swim for a week after the injection. You will be given a follow-up appointment four to eight weeks after the injection or course of injections.
Can I use eye drops after an eye injection?
After the injection, many doctors will examine your eye with a light and clean around your eye. Most will ask you to use
antibiotic eye drops for a day
or two. Your eye will probably be sore and your vision somewhat foggy for a day or two, and then should improve.
How long does it take for eye to heal after injection?
