Can I submit my PharmCAS application without references?
PharmCAS does not enforce evaluation deadlines
and will not hold your application for missing evaluations. Evaluators can submit a reference on your behalf after you submit the application or the school’s application deadline has passed, however, schools may choose not to consider late materials.
What does verified mean on PharmCAS?
After PharmCAS receives all of your official U.S. transcripts, it conducts a course-by-course verification process. Verification refers
to the matching of courses on your official transcripts with the courses you entered onto the “Transcript Entry” section
of your application.

How do I get my GPA from PharmCAS?
To calculate a grade point average (GPA), PharmCAS determines
your total number of quality points by multiplying semester hours attempted by the value of the verified PharmCAS grade
. Quarter hours and units are converted to semester hours (quarter hours are multiplied by . 667).
How do you use PharmCAS?
You start by selecting the programs you wish
to apply
to, then you submit one application that includes all necessary materials. Once received by PharmCAS, your application and materials go through a verification process before being transmitted to all of your selected programs.
How do I update my grades on PharmCAS?
- Print a new Transcript Request Form from the Colleges Attended section for the institution that issued the grade change.
- On the form, circle Yes next to Grade Change.
- Submit the Transcript Request Form to the registrar and arrange for a revised copy to be sent to PharmCAS as soon as possible.
How long is transcript entry?
It can take PTCAS
up to 15 business days
to complete the coursework entry process. Review your coursework, enter prerequisite courses, and submit your approval. Once PTE is complete, PTCAS will email you. It is your responsibility to review the coursework entered by staff for accuracy and approve the entry.

Do pharmacy schools look at science GPA?
All attempts of each course are counted in GPA calculations if a student has repeated courses. Pharmacy schools
look at a variety of GPA calculations in addition to the overall GPA
; including the science GPA, non-science GPA, GPA trends, and GPA in specific subjects.
How do I delete my PharmCAS app?
