Is Ireland’s Economy Improving? The Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) has published its latest quarterly economic commentary for summer 2021, saying it now projects Ireland’s GDP to increase by just over 11% this year. In March, the think-tank had said it expected the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) to expand by 4.4% in 2021.
