Fighters with the Eldritch Knight Archetype gradually acquire
additional spells and spell slots
through level advancement just like regular spellcasters. Whenever you gain a level as an Eldritch Knight, you can replace a current spell with any Abjuration or Evocation spell from the Wizard spell list.

Do you regain spell slots after a level up?
Their spell slots “upgrade” to the higher levels instead of gaining new spell slots, so unless a Warlock actually gains a new spell slot (like at levels 2, 11, or 17) their upgraded spell slots would not be refreshed, and they’d still have
to take a short rest to gain those slots back

How long should it take to level up in D&D?

There is no way to multiclass into a subclass of the same class
, the PHB does a good job at supporting this view. Like Sagatympana said, if you want to homebrew this, you can always have the option to have a “talent tree” or “choose your feature” option.
Can you use a shield with dueling fighting style?
Since a Shield does not count as a weapon, Does it effect it in any way? No,
a shield does not cancel out the dueling fighting style
. That fighting style doesn’t even contain the word “shield” in any capacity, so there is no reason to thing it has anything to do with shields.
Do you get a feat at level 1 5e?
At 1st level,
my players get a feat choice based on their background
. These are predominantly the skill feats (from the UA) or other non-combat feats, like Linguist or Healer. There are 6 options per background so you can also randomize it if you want to.
Do you get a feat every level 5e?
Every single class can get feats whenever their Ability Scores rise
. For most classes, that means you can get feats at 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th and 19th levels.
Do clerics get feats?
Since Clerics are sturdy on their own,
they aren’t dependent on feats to take
care of business, freeing players up to choose feats that are fun for their playstyles.
