What happens if Vivotif is not refrigerated?
The vaccine may be left out of refrigeration during a reasonable transit time home
from the clinic. If the capsules are left outside of refrigeration at room temperature 77 °F (25 °C) for up to 12 hours on a one-time only occasion, the product quality will not be affected, and the capsules can still be taken.
How effective is Vivotif?
Our estimate of

is on the high end of the range of previous estimates of protection by both typhoid vaccines [12]. Typhoid vaccines have been less effective in situations with intense exposure to serotype Typhi than when the risk of exposure is lower [9].
What happens if you forget to take a typhoid pill?
Missed Dose
Call your doctor or pharmacist for instructions. If you do not remember the missed dose until the next day, take the missed dose at that time and reschedule your every-other-day doses from then.
